Meet Our Team

Norma, our Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager, obtained her Dental Assisting license from College of Alameda. Before finishing the assisting program, she was immediately hired in an orthodontic office where she was interning at Dr. Barrett J. Parker. Soon after finishing the assisting program, she became an RDA. She has worked as a Registered Dental Assistant, Front Office Receptionist and in the Financial Department with many years of experience in Orthodontics, Pediatric, and Surgical offices. She has been working at Alameda Orthodontics for 5 years where she has come to settle down ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible and providing excellent service to all patients.

She and her husband, Rigo, have two wonderful young adults of which they are very proud of. Both are wanting to major in the medical field. She likes spending time with the family and when she gets a chance she loves traveling, shopping, cooking, crocheting and watching movies.

Rocio was born and raised in the Bay Area. She graduated San Lorenzo High in 2010. She then attended Chabot College and received her AA. Later on, she went to ROP (Regional Occupational Program) to become a Dental Assistant. She started off working in General Dentistry as well as assisting in other dental fields. She joined our team in 2023. She enjoys working with the team and helping kids and adults to get a beautiful smile! Rocio lives with her husband and two kids soon to be 3.

She loves spending time with her family and also really enjoys cooking and baking.

Mayra was born and raised in the Bay Area. After graduating from Arroyo High School, she went to the Regional Occupational Program to earn her Dental Assisting license. She also graduated from Chabot Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. She was in between both fields but chose to go into the dental field. Mayra joined our team in 2018. She loves being part of the happiness that patients feel as their smiles are being transformed.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and dogs, Mona and Chapo. She also likes being out in nature, shopping and cooking. She also enjoys traveling with her husband.

Kim was born in Modesto CA, and raised in the Bay Area. Shortly after graduating Madison Park Academy High School, she was introduced to Carrington College located in San Leandro by an instructor, where she achieved her Dental Assistant certification in 2023. She loves to learn and is still learning to expand her orthodontic skills.

She lives with her mom, brother and grandma. She likes spending time with her cat, trying out new things such as restaurants and outdoor activities and exercising.

Jazmin was born in a small town in Durango, Mexico. In 2003, when she was only 3 years old, her family decided to move to Oakland, California, where she still resides. A few years ago, she chose to pursue a career in dentistry. In November 2023, she joined our team with a big smile on her face.

Jazmin is the oldest of 4 siblings, with 2 sisters and 1 brother. In her free time, Jazmin enjoys playing with her dogs, shopping, watching new movies/shows, and spending time with her family.

Alondra was born in Tepatitlan from Morelos, Jalisco, Mexico. When she was 12 years old, she and her family moved to the United States. She completed her dental assisting license in early 2022 right after graduating high school. Alondra lives with her husband and newly born baby boy, Santiago.

She loves spending quality time with her family. In her free time, she loves exploring nature and going to the beach. ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible. She takes pride in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently so that our patients can enjoy a pleasant and stress-free experience. When she's not working, you can often find her reading, boxing, or practicing yoga.
